I know there are reading lists put out by Tim Challies and others. I want to put one together for Grace Community Church. Most of these I have read, others are on my “to read” list. I hope you will pick some of them up and feed your soul this year.

  • Henry Scudder, The Christian’s Daily Walk
  • Don Whitney, Spiritual Disciplines of the Christian Life

  • John Owen, The Mortification of Sin, Temptation, Indwelling Sin (all three are in Vol 6 of Owen’s works, a new edition by Crossway or separately as Puritan Paperbacks).

  • James Hamilton, What is Biblical Theology? A Guide to the Bible’s Story, Symbolism and Patterns
