Testimonies of Grace, Part 4

We asked our congregation for some ways that God had blessed or grown them during this difficult time. Here are some of our family’s responses:

Our good and gracious King continues to teach me that I should not kick against trials.

As Jerry Bridges said, “We have our own idea of what good is, and it seldom includes difficulties and heartaches. But the psalmist said, ‘It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees’ (Psa. 119:71). And the writer of Hebrews said, ‘God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness’ (12:10).
