Jesus concludes his sermon on the plain with a convicting call to faith and action. If Christians believe Jesus is Lord, they should follow him as Lord.

  1. Jesus is referring to the sermon he’s been preaching for most of chapter 6. Summarize some of the major commands he made. 
  2. How do you fail in keeping these commands? 
  3. What does it mean to have a foundation built on the rock? T
  4. his passage should do more than convict us of our sin and failure, it should point us to see how great Christ is. How did Christ succeed in the areas in which we fail?
