Psalms 42 and 43 are a powerful example of fighting to trust God when trials are severe and we cannot see what God is doing.
- What kinds of situations cause believers to feel rejected by God?
- Give some examples from the passage of how the psalmist is fighting for faith instead of giving in to his feelings.
- The trial of the psalmist is not resolved at the end of these psalms. What do we learn from his faith in this unresolved trial?
- What kinds of situations in your life require you to fight for faith?
