Text: Luke 6:27-28

Jesus gives a simple command that has profound implications. “Love your enemies” is a command that people often embrace on the surface, but resist in real life. How are we to love our enemies?
- Why do we struggle with praying for enemies?
- If you do not feel able to pray for enemies, what needs to change in you to be able to obey Jesus’ command?
- Think of people you oppose or who oppose you. How can you pray for them?
- How did Jesus meet the standards of this command? How does that help us to likewise obey?
